Pelican and Hardigg’s Storm Case Merger Expands Rugged Global Brand

Pelican Case and Hardigg’s Storm Case have merged to expand their dominance in the global protective carrying case arena.  The former competitors now offer their innovative lines of first-class injection-molded cases under the corporate banner of Pelican Storm Case.

The combined Pelican Storm injection molded line of cases now offers 70 sizes that maintain the hard-earned reputation for rugged, intelligent engineering.  This unique line of cases provides a safe transportable environment for sensitive, expensive or vital equipment, including, laptops, weaponry, communication systems, recreation, video and photography components and more.  A wide range of sizes and shapes make these cases ideal for personal or professional use.  Their dent- and shatter-resistant exteriors mean they can travel anywhere in the world.

While some Pelican Storm Cases feature sealed bearing wheels and extension handles for easy maneuvering, other smaller cases are hand-held only.  All models are available with value-added options, such as custom foam, colors and labels.  And since each case has survived Pelican’s stringent and extreme testing requirements, they meet or exceed various military tests, ISO certifications and ATA approvals.

The custom foam capabilities available for the 70 models include closed-cell polyethylene and open-cell polyurethane for superior and flexible cushioning and protection.  Cubed foam is also available for some models.

Although available colors are black, yellow, and OD green, each color is not available in every case size.  Also, minimum order requirements apply for yellow and OD green.  Minimum quantities may apply for custom Pelican Storm Case colors.

The Pelican Storm Case line includes molded-in hasps for padlocks, as well as durable, resilient HPX high impact lightweight shells.  Press-and-pull latches allow easy access to all models.  And double-layered, fully rubberized grip handles are comfortable for hands of all sizes. 

Each model has a permanently attached Vortex^® valve, which automatically adjusts air pressure without letting in water or dust.  For gear that demands a completely airtight case, the valve can be swapped out for a manual pressure relief valve that guarantees absolutely nothing escapes or gets in.
